So as anyone who‘s read my posts knows, I loved this series as a kid. As anyone who looks at my profile for 2 seconds knows I‘m pretty gay, but only came out a few years ago. What I forgot is that THIS BOOK HAS A SUPER LESBIAN ENDING. That‘s all I‘ll say for fear of spoilers. ILOVE that this book, 4th in the series, has this amazing supportive, sane, lesbian relationship AND THAT I TOTALLY WAS READING QUEER FICTION WHEN I WAS YOUNG. #queerbooks 💛

My fiancé is sick so I‘m reading in the living room in an attempt to let her sleep. I‘m also moving through my re read of this series quickly. There are a ton of negative reviews on these books on goodreads but each time I pick up the story and fall into this world, I greet the characters as the old friends that they are. I‘m probably not an objective reader because the books meant so much to me at a young age, but isn‘t that what books are for?
