ncsufoxes Even though the water was always freezing I do miss the CA coast. Are you driving on US 1 at all? It‘s an incredible drive, scary but beautiful. We drove from San Francisco to San Diego after being in Lake Tahoe one summer. Have fun! 1y

Water brings me calm, in the past year I‘ve managed to sit on the Gulf of Mexico, the California coast and Maine. They all have a different feel and I love them all. I can‘t be angry by the water. 🧘‍♀️

An absolutely romantic pirate adventure to the Caribbean! The writing blended so well and I absolutely loved the love interest Nicholas😘I did find the MC Tessa to be a little helpless, but since it was a historical fiction I wasn't overly bothered. I loved the emotions and small moments Tess and Nicholas have. I liked the small amount of action and the lush descriptions. The ending leaves fairly happy but there is a sequel, but no third yet...

TheBookDream @KatieDid927 really! I love that area. I‘m a huge fan of Book Barn and some of the other local businesses as well as Mystic Seaport (excuse me, Museum of the Sea). Such a lovely area to hang out. 4y

ValerieAndBooks @Foragingfantasy that's great! For us, though, we joke that no matter where we go on spring break it always ends up being colder than it's supposed to be there 😂. SPI was no exception for us. 8y
