#WeekendReads
A fun and useful read for any burgeoning plant parents out there. Lots of useful info on caring for and styling plants in your home. Plus lots of gorgeous pictures to inspire you. Idk if it would be as useful for more knowledgeable plant peeps, but as someone who's become obsessed with houseplants over the last few months, this was a really useful jumping off point. Plus it makes a stunning coffee table book with its sprayed green edges.
I've been having a but of trouble reading this week, but this one has felt easier. I'm enjoying learning more about my growing plant collection without worrying about research / reading for work.
A pick with reservations, this book definitely gets all the points for being aesthetically pleasing, with sprayed edges, matte pages, and loads of full-page photos. There is a lot of info about the basics of raising houseplants and keeping them happy, and then the rest of the book looks very briefly had individual types of houseplants and also "interviews" random plant people. I could have done without the interviews, as they felt more like ⬇️
Gorgeous new book to help me become a better plant mom
Birthday nails - book inspired! I took the book to the nail parlour and Lucy did a fab job! 🤣
I love this book. It‘s really helped me keep my first batch of houseplants alive! For years everything has died super quick.... these are 2 months in and thriving. Finger crossed!
Of course if they die - I could always use the shelf for books! 🤣
