What a spellbinding fantasy!
Ok so I loved the premis for this one. The storyline is complex and cryptic but this made it very enthralling to me. I enjoyed the characters, especially Cole. And the writing was beautiful, what a great debut! Cant wait for more from this author a fellow Canadian!

The blurb intrigued me but the contents of the book unfortunately fell short of my expectations.
The flowery writing confused me instead if pulling me in and made it hard to grasp the already poorly-explained magic system (dreamscape).
The protagonist was unreliable and quite vapid. The worldbuilding had a lot of loopholes.
A good premise but poorly executed.
