This was not my favorite book in the series. Kali‘s journey through the void was a drag and I kept thinking, I‘d just leave Deven for Enlil. I‘m fickle like that. Also why doesn‘t everyone just meander back from “Hell/the Void” if they can? However, the rebuilding of the Tarachand Empire and Ashwin, Gemi and the other main character‘s stories make it worth the read.
