Now it's her turn to join him. Together, Kiva and Seth must take an escape shuttle to search for the engine part their home ship needs to keep running. But it's been a long time since the Krakatoa has communicated with any of the other three ships harboring human civilization. Kiva and Seth are not sure what they'll find if and when they finally make contact. Danger, romance and twists you'll never see coming abound in this high-stakes science fiction adventure.

WTF! Earth is destroyed and people live in space now. Two teenagers gotta go find a part they need for their ship (yah that‘s smart >_>) You spend majority of the book dealing with their “feelings” for each other & then when there are only 10 pages left the writers tries to pull a 180 & make all those chapters about their feelings null & void, & then just ends it & tries to play it off with some fancy ending quote. Just Horrible. 1 Star for sure.

Sweetkokoro @booknerdslife honestly I should have DNFd it. It was totally badly written YA Romance disguised as SciFi and I am so mad about it. I‘m glad my review is going over well though, at least something good came out of this book hahah. 6y

So while at #BEA2018 the Macmillan booth was very generous with librarians. But also made you work for it. They would have 4 galleys on display and you could choose one. The last hour on the last day, I walked by every ten minutes so I get get all the titles including this one. I swear their rep hates me.
