I bought this for $2.19 on #BookOutlet and I feel that‘s about right -

I struggled through this book, it just didn‘t work for me. I was looking for a light summer read and found myself reading a book with way too much description and repeated conversation. Nobody wants to read 320 pages where the characters concentrate so hard on themselves that the story loses track of the important things. What I did enjoy about this book was the scene descriptions of the cruise ship and the pink sand and blue waters of Bermuda.

I really enjoyed reading this book. Three women (who are long-standing friends) and their families take a cruise in celebration of a 20th wedding anniversary. Of course there are many adventures that occur on the journey and no one is unchanged by the end of the trip. I recommend this book and plan to explore other works of the author.

My favourite summer reads have always been that book that captures the delicate balance between the serious and the fun. And The Summer Sail by Wendy Francis did just that....A thoroughly entertaining summer read!

If you're looking for a beach read this summer, I highly recommend The Summer Sail by Wendy Francis! I just finished it and loved it! ❤

The premise didn't sound that interesting at first but with the weather finally nice and warm, I'm so down for books with summer vibes and this was perfect! I loved reading about all the different relationships and friendships, especially the mother-daughter bond between Lee and Lacey. This is such a fun book 😍

I saw some posts about the #8intwo #minireadathon and even though I'm going to a reptile expo today and a book sale tomorrow, I think I can get 4 hours of reading done each day lol. Here's my mini tbr 😊📚 How are you guys spending the weekend?
