pickAbsolutely brilliant book. Well researched and well written. Admittedly it did take me a while to read as I started it and then put it down for a while. That is not the books fault. I just wasn‘t ready for it at the time. F

Years ago I went on a walk with #Cumbria wildlife trust, looking at a traditional meadow. Belted Galloway cows were brought in to disturb the soil which allows seeds that are buried in the soil to come to the surface and germinate, something just described in 'Feral' p. 74
