I liked Astrid and Veronica, but this one? If I‘d had another audiobook with me on my long drive today I would have bailed. I got home with 46 minutes left and I don‘t care enough to finish. Ridiculous behavior from both main characters, predictable reveals, trite “philosophy “ and too many issues to be believed. It felt like the author was writing for her own therapy.

Beautifully written- explores a sisterly relationship and the dangers of a shared painful past.

This book was ok, I‘m not sure if I just didn‘t like the characters or what. The setting was wonderful, it revolved around a coastal village in Spain. It was well written, the only thing that kept me from bailing on this novel is because I wanted to find out what the deal was between these two half sisters.
