This was a reread, but it has been so long since the first read that I had forgotten most of the plot. I'm excited to read more in this series now though! I do think that some of the plot was unrealistic, for instance the police would never let a civilian take over a case investigation quite like Bree did...

Personally, I think it should have been a shorter book; maybe half as long. I usually enjoy Coble‘s books but I‘ll give this one a “hard pass”.
