Finished another #StarTrek book. Foster expands on the stories he's adapting, which is nice. This one is a little problematic, though. Our heroes spend the second half of the book tracking and capturing a mysterious creature. Kirk wonders more than once if the creature may be intelligent, but doesn't let any ethical concerns stop him from capturing it so it can be permanently installed as an attraction in an alien zoo. Entertaining, but flawed.
