Hello, #LitsyFamily 🤗🤗🤗!!! Last night, @MrBook and I attended a wonderfully spooky #EdgarAllanPoe Reading at #GreyTowers 😱😁👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻!!! It was a delightful 90 minutes of Poe-ish enjoyment.

Oh, and the portrait on the right is painted by a dear friend of ours who is sitting just to the left of this picture. She owns the Poe Gallery MrBook posted about a while back. 🎨

These are all of the #oldcoolbooks we have in an alcove in our home. They were salvaged first from my grandfather‘s basement, and then from my dad‘s closet. Most belonged to my great and gg-grandmothers.

The oldest ones are behind glass in our hallway bookshelf. I treasure this collection!

I haven‘t done a photo challenge in a while, but I like the idea of the one @Linsy came up with!
