We got a Day rider on the public transport here in Singapore. We took the train to Jurong East where we found yet another huge shopping centre. Found a book shop and I got this book by a local author. There were a few to choose from but I was sold on this book when I read this in the preface “ Singapore has no history and no literature the young man told the audience . His remark angered me.” Its my plane read.
