
This is not something you read at bedtime, but I did last night. It's a dark, dismal story, and leaves you bereft of any hope in the world.
My first time reading O'Connor, and I fell in love with her writing. Dialogue synthesis, descriptions of nature, adding layers to characters is something she does brilliantly. Looking forward to reading more of her work.
