One time there was a cop and a police dog who got hurt in an explosion....
Dog Man: Lord of the Fleas was written by Dav Pilkey. I really liked listening to this book. I like how the text/dialogue is separated into different boxes/sections like a comic strip would be. In addition, I really like how colorful the pages are. The different size, color, etc. of text makes it really fun to read as well!
5✨Dog Man is my happy book series. It‘s so full of fun and the characters cheer each other up. This one was loosely related to the classic “Lord of the Flies” another high school favorite of mine.
I bought this to give as a birthday gift, but I have to share this page. The literary references and puns are my favorite part of the Dogman books, and this is even a Tolkien reference. 😂

My husband shared this with me and it touched me greatly! Good messages are to be had in many different packages this one surprised me. Based off a poem written by Kent M. Keith, “Anyway”.

On our way home from the bookstore, they are already absorbed in their books! #raisingreaders
My 7yo was very absorbed in Dog Man at the bookstore.
Just preordered this for my 9 year old reluctant reader - whatever it takes to get him more into books, even if it means ordering weird half-man, half-dog cop books. 🤣
I just started this Geek Challenge & Giveaway at my library and it‘s been super popular! My next two Geek Giveaways are Amulet and Phoebe and her Unicorn (which I advertised on the back of the flyer).
I had a parent ask today if I had an email list so she could keep track of what was coming up. Passive Programming for the win!
