Roger Rabbit is trending on Twitter. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I loved this movie when it came out (although I‘ve never read the book 🤭). Since I have a 4-day weekend and no real plans, I think I‘ll just have to rewatch it. 🐰📽🎞📺

almost forgot to post about this book since I blew right through it. fun read, but deviates very heavily from the movie. a lot of the wackiness from the toon stuff is also present in this book, which is pretty great. some male-gaze-y 80's misogyny here and there but it's not especially glaring.

I read this book years ago after watching the movie and noticing in the credits 'based upon a novel' - which totally surprised me. The book is much more Tinseltown noir and really only has the characters in common with the movie, from what I remember. I like them both on their own. #hollywood #maybookflowers

Smangela Oh my gosh I need to find this for my husband! Thanks for sharing :) 8y
RealLifeReading What? I never knew that! 8y
JazzFeathers I knew the film was based on a novel. I'd be very curiouse to read it. I remember seeing it around at the time of the movie... l doubt l can find it now 🤔 8y
Eyelit @JazzFeathers I think you can get it on kindle for $3 - but other than that it's probably easier to find in print used if at all 😄 8y

I thought the writing was a bit poor, and the editing wasn't great either. There were numerous structural errors throughout the book too. With that said, it's a quick read and worth the time to see where the classic movie Who Framed Roger Rabbit originated. Spoiler: the book is completely different!
