This was like a masterclass in meaningful, brief writing. I hope this is used in every creative writing class ever. The dialogue particularly was just breathtaking. I wish so badly I could read the original french as I think it would be so fascinating, but the translation was great too.

Next time I‘m buying books I‘ll definitely need to get my hands on more Marguerite Duras!
