Finally turned my audiobook collection into a spreadsheet so I can share it with friends and we can compare notes. Thought I had about 60 or so but turns out I have 134!! Gotta get to work! The Ferryman Institute was one of my favorites!
"...the memory came back, even if it was in hazy bits and pieces. It was a #bittersweet thing, as was the smile that accompanied it"

I'm only about 80%done but I just got through the 'trial' scene and found myself laughing and cheering for the good guy! That was awesome! I'm gonna call it and give this book 👍👍! ☠️🗝🚪🌀🏜😮😆😂👏👏🎉
"Ah! A case of bullet hole shrinkage. Now where had she heard about that before? That's right, nowhere! Because it was fucking impossible!"
Curious description about guy who convinces dead people to move to afterlife - got my attention! Hoping to get some reading done this eve, snugged up on sofa. 😀
I enjoyed this book immensely. A Ferryman is one who tries to convince those who have died to move on to the afterlife. The main character is given a strange assignment that leads to mystery and mayhem. Such a great read. It has fun, thrills, and heart.
I was really excited to read about a guide tired of leading the recently dead to their afterlife but just could not get into it. The characters seemed slapped together and the plot resembled a slapstick action movie with puns and the girl who can only be saved by our hero. I wanted something deeper and darker bit could not even appreciate it for what it ends up being.
Painting is of Charon, a mythological ferryman of the dead. BUT this book is about Charlie who is sarcastic, handsome, an expert in ferrying, and burnt out. Loving this book!
