Painfully shy, thirteen-year-old Zylia has a problem. Like most teenagers, Zylia feels invisible to the world. She moves through her large family, school, and the world unseen and unnoticed, but unlike other teenagers, it isn't a feeling. Zylia is slowly disappearing from this world. She has no idea how to stop it, and at times, isn't sure she wants to. She stumbles across a family mystery about the disappearance of her great-aunt Angelica and discovers clues to her own situation. Zylia searches for answers about Angelica's disappearance while discovering truths about herself. This coming of age story finds a young girl looking for answers and discovering an unrealized internal strength and her place in this world.
