Is anyone interested in this book? I will swap it with someone from Litsy via mail! It was a good, feminist memoir and if that's your thing you will likely enjoy this. Plus, it's a beautifully done book. However, my puppy did knock over my hot wax warmer and the top pages have pink wax on them. It's still totally readable! If you're interested let me know what you're willing to swap! US only, sorry but I am a poor. #bookswap #swap
This was great for the first 3/4 then it started to drag...and drag...and drag. As this is a memoir, a lot of self-reflection is warranted, but I do feel Lea glossed over some interesting details in order to include some unnecessary pontification. Lea does a wonderful job capturing her husband's spirit and her love for him is apparent on every page. Overall a good book, if not a bit repetitive.
Sonya Lea and her husband, Richard are mountain people through and through. A good camping read. 😊
It's been one of those days. I need a good book and a good drink.

Finished this up this morning with a dog in my lap and snow falling outside. While I didn't like the whole thing, I did enjoy this memoir of a woman whose husband loses his memory.
