Ok, so Tingle is at it again. Also, it‘s probably time for another #LitsyAfterDark read because as @GondorGirl has pointed out, there‘s a need for some ridiculousness. Any thoughts on what we might want to read? Where are my #FreakyFriendsForever?

teafetish I follow Chuck tingle in Twitter... he's a hoot! 6y

LibrarianRyan Did you know Tingler managed to get nominated for a (Edgar?) award. I was reading about how they needed to redo how the awards are chosen because the system could be gamed. 6y
jpmcwisemorgan @LibrarianRyan What? He did? How? For which story? OMG! 6y
LibrarianRyan @jpmcwisemorgan let me see if I can find. It was a brief mention on of of many articles about the problems with the Edgar awards. 6y
LibrarianRyan @jpmcwisemorgan wrong award. It was a Hugo award. And he got nominated. I think “No Winner” actually won. 6y
LibrarianRyan @jpmcwisemorgan this is not the original articles I read but it is decent and describes what happened. I fell down this hole a week or so ago. https://www.latimes.com/books/jacketcopy/la-et-jc-hugos-puppies-20160427-snap-ht... 6y
jpmcwisemorgan @LibrarianRyan He‘s been nominated before, though. 6y
LibrarianRyan @jpmcwisemorgan yes. He has. He does write popular ebooks. 6y
GondorGirl @LibrarianRyan I'm not surprised, really. Even though his books are completely ridiculous, they're honestly rather well written... which adds further fire to the speculation that's he's really Patrick Rothfuss and Neil Gaiman getting drunk and writing together over skype. 6y
jpmcwisemorgan @GondorGirl @LibrarianRyan Ha! That would be awesome. 6y
ReadingsByTheC @GondorGirl Yes! When I read the first book I totally thought, this is Neil Gaiman having fun with us. 6y
LibrarianRyan @GondorGirl I had never heard that. That would be awesome. 6y
