Bailedbailed

I‘m not sure where I picked up this Christopher Pike book. I enjoyed Pike as a teen but after about 50 pages, I‘m bailing to move on to other reads. This was my #Bookspin for January.

Bookzombie My decorations are still up. I was a little late getting them up in December so I‘m enjoying them a little longer. 7h
Sweettartlaura I LOVED Pike as a teen/even college student. And I‘m re-reading Weekend with my 13 year old niece - some of the references are dated but the story is holding up. But I picked up a more recent one of his in the past decade and … 👎🏻🫤. I finished it. But I was disappointed 😔 6h
Reggie I have a coworker who keeps her tree up all year long and she‘ll just change the ornaments to fit the holiday. 4h

Pickpick

Fourth book in the #BuddyRead with Jason (@korbus) I'm excited to get back to Pike. Things are progressing nicely! Can't wait to see what these are like all these years later! #nostalgia #ChristopherPike #MasterOfMurder #90sKid

#augustbookchallenge Christopher Pike and R. L. Stine may seem strange as an all time favorite but I started collecting these books when I was 13 with my babysitting money. Now I'm 35 and they sit on my son's bookshelf. He'll be 11 soon and just starting to find his way to them. It's an exciting moment for me 💙💙🤓🤓

moranadatter Not strange at all. It's awesome! I loved those as a kid. 8y
Trav Oooo. I love, I love! I read both Goosebumps and Christopher Pike books when I was growing up. Needless to say, I still have a soft spot for them. 8y
