so-soI thought the writing was uneven and the narrative shifts were jarring and confusing.
bailedI started the audiobook in the car to work. On the way home it hit track 9 disc 1 & said part 2. I said nope, can‘t do it, this has not grabbed my attention. Fastest time I have ever bailed on a book. Anyone else feel this way or did you love this? Under The Tuscan Sun is one of my favorite movies but I have never read the book.
bailedI wanted to like this book, but as I got closer to page 200 I found that I had difficulty in reading the story.
The duel stories of Kit, a writer living in Tuscany, and three Americans: Susan, Julie and Camilla deciding to move to a villa in Tuscany rather than a senior living establishment. The more interesting story was Susan, Julie and Camilla's.
Some editing would have been worthwhile. I did not need to have so many meals described.
Starting this today...I actually have no idea why I put this on hold so hopefully it doesn‘t disappoint.

It was as hard to pick a favorite mug as it was to pick a favorite book!! This mug is from our last family vacation & my married daughter has same one. When I drink from it I can remember our vacation or imagine we are drinking coffee together.
Women in Sunlight is about friendship, taking chances & creating a life you love. Plus it's set in Tuscany!
pickI LOVE this book!4 1/2 ⭐️read!It is a story of finding friends in the most unlikely place & them becoming your family as you create the life you want. 3 women meet at a tour for a retirement community but none of them really want to move there. Instead they rent a house in Tuscany where they discover things about themselves & begin to create the rest of their lives. Thanks to NetGalley & the publisher for providing an ARC for my honest review.
