So much fun. I love the art, and it was an entertaining storyline. The dog narrator was an odd choice, though.

I don‘t read a lot of “girls having fun” books it seems! So I‘m going to go with this reboot of Betty and Veronica (graphic novel) who do have fun because it turns out they‘re capable of all sorts of mischief and mayhem. The art in this is fantastic and wow, B & V got extra gorgeous since the 70s 😆 Nothing to do with Riverdale storyline as far as I can tell.

Cinfhen I used to love Archie comics!!! I've only seen one episode of Riverdale...I was heartbroken.....why do that to a beloved childhood memory??? 7y
Centique @batsy @cinfhen my daughter wants me to watch it but I haven‘t yet. I‘m all for cheesy TV - but like you @cinfhen I was a massive fan of the comics as a kid so I‘d have to put that completely out of my mind first! 7y
batsy Yeah I just stopped associating the TV show with the comics. There is zero connection except for the characters names and basic traits :) 7y

I love the Archie reboot, so when it was announced that Betty & Veronica was getting one too, I couldn't wait. Needless to say, the wait was worth it.

While I am not familiar with Charm as an artist, he perfectly nailed the look and feel of the characters. Hughes captured the attitudes of Betty and Veronica, and I couldn't be happier with the results.
