Family vacation started today minus one who's working at a summer camp. We practiced our travel selfie while my husband drove all the way to Montreal from London, Ontario. I had time to finish Approval Junkie too. If you are a fan on CBS Sunday Morning or the NPR podcast "Wait, wait, don't tell me" then you should read this book. I am a fan of both and I loved it. Laughed and cried a bit until it was time to navigate

Reading and exploring vacation options for summer 2018

Really liked this!! I loved the early stuff--the entertainment and marriage chapters--more than the baby/mommyhood chapters. Great voice. And I'm scared of how similar I am to her...😁

I really loved the mix of humor and poignancy. Faith tells a lot of funny stories but mixed in are her battles with an eating disorder, her struggle with fertility, and a gorgeous essay about books and her father.

A solid read if you enjoy memoirs with a twist of wry humor.

"Are you going to Davos this year?", charitably implying that I even understand what the World Economic Forum is. To which I answer out loud, "No, not this year," and in my head I add, "Largely because, for me, Davos is a knight in service to Stannis Baratheon, Lord of Dragonstone."

If you were watching us get engaged in Rome's Piazza Navona, you were probably thinking, "That couple standing in the fountain sure likes to hug a lot."

I met Faith Salie & Peter Sagal last night. Talk about a funny pair. What a hoot!
