This is a soft pick for me, likely my mood more than anything though. I enjoyed reading about the plain people (Amish) but, I found myself getting more than a bit angry at certain things. I will read the other 2 books in this trilogy, just not right away.

Andrew65 Well done 👏👏👏 1y
TheAromaofBooks Have you read the Kate Burkholder series by Linda Castillo? That is a great mystery/thriller series that takes place in an Amish community. 1y
DieAReader @Andrew65 😉❤️🔥 1y
DieAReader @TheAromaofBooks I have not but, I will look it up! Thank you❤️🔥🤓 1y
TheAromaofBooks Definitely read them in order... there is a lot of development of the main character over the series!! They are set not far from where I live, and I feel like Castillo treats the Amish community with respect even while creating some dramatic scenarios haha 1y
DieAReader @TheAromaofBooks Even better! Thanks so much❤️🔥 1y
