The 6th Grade Nickname Game
The 6th Grade Nickname Game | Gordon Korman
3 posts | 4 read | 4 to read
Best friends Jeff and Wiley are nickname addicts. It's only when a spunky red-haired environmentalist named Cassandra enters their lives that they begin to doubt their nicknaming prowess. No name seems to say it all. On top of everything, some of the nicknames that Jeff and Wiley have invented are backfiring on them. Will the nicknamers be able to get it together before it's too late?

Pickpick

Fun bedtime read. Maybe both the kids and I were a little too old for it, because we predicted too much of the story to give it more than 3/5 stars. (going into 6th & 11th) #BedtimeBookClub

I'm having lots of fun with this! Loving learning about your #LitsyHandle

I'm Sarah. For a few years l used a different handle online. It was Celebcuen, modelled on Tolkien's Quenya elven language. But when l started writing stories set in the 1920s l wanted something related to that era.
I actually chose Feathers, the name of a character from one of my favourite silent films, but it was already taken. So l jazzed it up and became JazzFeathers

Nuwanda I haven't, but I love Gordon Korman's other books. The Bruno and Boots series is one of my favorites! 7y
