bookwyrm7 I wish I could be that badger right now 😴 2w
willaful @bookwyrm7 I had a bad night, so me too. 🥱 2w
bookwyrm7 @willaful I'm sorry to hear that, but then again any night not spent inside a cozy warm den, while Winter winters on outside, can technically be considered a bad night. I hope you get some quality sleep soon though! 🍂🍁🌨️ 2w
TieDyeDude @bookwyrm7 @willaful I think I have too much anxiety/FOMO to hibernate 😅 😫 2w

“Over the snow I glide, a full moon lights my path to supper, under the snow a chipmunk wakes for a meal. His house under my feet”

This book could inspire a fun classroom assignment where students explore the hidden world of animals in winter. After reading the book, students could research an animal that hibernates or lives under the snow.

Over and Under the Snow can inspire a fun classroom assignment where students explore the hidden world of animals in winter. After reading the book, students could research an animal that hibernates or lives under the snow. They would create a short report or drawing showing how their animal survives the cold. To wrap up, students can present their findings, sharing what they learned about the animals' winter habits with the class.

I love this series 😍 in this case, showing what's happening beneath the snow while a dad and daughter cross country ski through the woods. Great info on animals including some extra bits at the end. Toddler was convinced the dad was his dada and was excited to find him on each page even when way in the background. Made me a little nostalgic for Ontario with all the snow. #babyreads #science #nature #winter #picturebook
