Book ten in the Jack Reacher series and this never gets old, I have loved every book and even although they always follow the same formula, I can't get enough.

Jack rarely goes to the same cafe twice but the coffee is great so he breaks his own rule.

That second cup of coffee takes us from New York, USA to Norwich, UK and those last 40 pages had me on the edge!

Jack makes these books for me, I crush hard on him and I feel no shame!

A solid and fairly straight forward action thriller. Fast paced and easy reading.

I'm a fan of the Jack Reacher series, in general. This one was particularly good, I thought. There was a twist I didn't anticipate (that doesn't happen very often). I liked the scenes between Reacher and PI Lauren Pauling.

Trigger warning: there were threats of sexual violence directed at both a grown woman and a young girl.

It amazes me how Lee Child can write these seriously intense stories. The plots are so detailed and brilliantly designed. In this installment, Jack Reacher is in NYC where he gets involved with ex-military guys to find a missing wife and her daughter.

Blaire I love lee child. The jack reacher books are my go-to go break out of a reading slump. I ration them so I‘ll always ha w one waiting. 6y
NatalieR @Blaire Thankfully there are plenty of books in the series! 6y
