This is the type of thing that gets me thinking about how little we humans have really advanced socially. An idea from the book: Ancient Greek myths suggest that we should have no illusions about what it takes to preserve a successful society. Moderation, tolerance and equality have always been and will, I think, always be attacked by the forces of extremism, intolerance and inequality. Unfortunately, it‘s all too relevant now.
