I couldn‘t get into this book at first, but by page 300, it got good. Read this for a book club, wouldn‘t have picked it up otherwise.

Started this last night. Enjoying it so far. My first book by her but she has many I want to read.
"You can dawdle in the past, allow it to shadow you, or you can walk forward into the light of tomorrow."
"Scientists say every action initiates an equal and opposite reaction."
This was good but not amazing. I have read almost all of Ellen Hopkin's books and loved so many of them! I did like that this dealt with adults rather than teenagers and held the same explorations of love and all that goes along with that like her others. Happy to have read it and I can say I did like it just not a reread like the others.
Glass of white wine and another new book. Getting my reading in before I start back at work next week.
My students are reading today, so I am being a good model and reading as well! 😁
For her first adult fiction book, I really enjoyed this one. Triangles tells the story of the parents from her previous book Tilt. I loved having the two different views (teen/parent) for the same timeline. Would recommend for anyone that enjoys unique verse, and a little bit of drama. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My first taste of Hopkins's adult writing and I was not a fan. Lackluster and honestly quite boring. The plot sounding interesting, but the delivery failed.

Day 6: Shapes - Triangles by Ellen Hopkins. This was her first adult novel I believe and as always she is on top of her game and you will not regret reading her work. I swear by it.

I love this author! She has such a way of getting you so involved with her characters and understanding their perspectives. I thought this was well done! There is sex involved, yes. But not like one would expect from it being categorized as Erotica.
