This one just didn‘t work for me. Cute art but a surprisingly dark story that didn‘t feel fully developed. Boarding school, sibling fights, an evil scientist killing children to keep his own alive, and a ghost boy who didn‘t fit in with other ghosts—I think it was just trying to do a little too much at once. #middlegrade #kidlit #graphicnovel

First read of the year! I know it's difficult with graphic novels to get a full story into a condensed format. This, however, felt seriously underdeveloped. Cute premise, just felt it was lacking.

Reading, Fuller House on the tv and Pepsi in my mug. Only thing to make it better would be to go back and not burn my finger on a frying pan. 🤷🏻‍♀️
