If you have to dress a dragon, you must be prepared to catch him as he flies by. Also, beware of ticklish toes, shirts with buttons, and hats that do not fit neatly between his horns! In this charming, second-person narrative, our little boy hero imparts his infinite knowledge of how to dress a dragon, a task that isn't quite as easy as it may seem. With helpful hints like, You may have to tickle-tackle him to the floor and give him belly kisses, and warnings like, Dragons do not like shirts. But they do like capes ! this story is not only delightfully entertaining, but extremely endearing. Author Thelma Lynne Godin and illustrator Eric Barclay come together perfectly to bring this fantasy to life!

4 🌟 Not a bad read. It is very reminiscent of the Numeroff books. It‘s not a roundabout story at all, but with the way it is worded and the flow of the story very mouse/cookie like. The book is fun and quirky, and kids will like it.

This F picture book by Thelma Lynne Godin is great for grades K-2 and would work well as a RA or for S. I would use this to teach story sequence (what steps had to take place to dress the dragon). juliette_kathleen This book looks really cute! This would work great for younger grades or lower level readers. This actually looks perfect for an ASD student who I‘ve been working with all semester. He is in the 4th grade, loves dragons, and reads at about a level one. I‘ll have to try it out with him! Thanks!! 7y

Lots of #runningandjumping in tonight's picture book pick! A little boy teaches readers how to dress pet dragons by warning us to first be prepared to catch one and second, be prepared for his silly antics.
