Pickpick

It was hard to genuinely like this story - the story of an 11yo boy making his way home with nothing because his mom abandoned him at a campsite during a bout of her mental illness. Then I realized; it is supposed to be heartbreaking and helpless because having a parent with a mental illness would be like traveling with nothing.
It's worth reading but I thought the story lost its focus in the middle a little. Wish it developed more on post-trip.
