A friend took up painting during one of Melbourne‘s many lockdowns - and I was the lucky recipient of this one - the lesser known (as it‘s in the hands of a private owner) version of VVG‘s sunflowers… maybe there are some advantages to having a December birthday… I think I‘ve found the perfect spot for it - but TBD!

A great supplemental book to give insight and personality into Van Gogh's history for younger kids & pairs great with a study of his painting Sunflowers. This is not a complete biography and wouldn't be a good resource for sharing about Van Gogh without supplemental readings or additional conversations to his life.
