Impressive book based o following "Sylvia Frumkin " as she cycles in and out of public mental health facilities in the 70s. Having the patience to record and reflect on her records, unlike the doctors, it's really clear how inadequate her treatment was...

Every so often I read a book about mental health treatment to educate myself. This is a genre classic.
