I didn't rate this book higher because the ending was rushed. It was like Kirby was restricted by page count, or perhaps she has another story in the works? Either way, it fizzled, which is too bad because the start of the book was some really great writing.

Olivia wakes up in the hospital to realize she nearly drowned after her car went over the bridge and now she has no memory of the accident or the last 4 years.
This was a quick and easy read. I was a little disappointed after I was done. I think more could have been done with the story lone and characters. Right when I was eating to know the characters the book was done.

⭐️⭐️⭐️

*Finally* finished my first book of 2018. 🙄 (The tagged book) I also recommend Moonglass... which I now have to reread, before moving on to Kirby's others. The way she packs emotions into her under 300 page books is #writinggoals.

Missusb I have read all the other three and can recommend them to you. 7y

This is what our reviewer had to say about #TheSecretHistoryofUs by @jessikirby "I really enjoyed how gripping this book was. I didn‘t intend to read it in one sitting, but I found it very hard to put down....This was the first book I had read by Kirby, and I enjoyed her writing style very much...."

Another YA amnesia book? Yep. But I enjoyed this one all the same. The ending was a bit rushed but the rear was really well done. 📚👍🏻
