I always love any chance I get to spend time in Painters Mill, OH with Chief Kate Burkholder. This is a short story that doesn‘t really add any info to any of the previous books in the series. Kate works to solve the case of a young Amish woman who was assaulted during a local Amish “rager” party. A very quick, easy read. #8.5 in the series. I like this short story more than most of the other shorts in this series.
