I love Lemony Snicket 💚 I had no clue this book existed until this year. It's such a sweet little tale about a lump of coal who is just searching for a place he fits in. The artwork is beautiful too. Great holiday read for kids of all ages.
pickI am not a big fan of most Christmas books, but this one is funny and sarcastic and clever. A lump of coal who wants nothing more than to be an artist and make authentic Korean barbecue is an interesting protagonist, to say the least, but the message is a sweet one without ever being saccharine.

pickA new book to add to your holiday reading list. Getting a lump of coal in your stocking may not be such a bad thing after all. Lemony Snicket once again takes an awful thing and turns it around. The illustrations by Brett Helquist are spot on and fun!
