#NuYear #DowninThePark Dylan goes to the same park every day on his lunch break, he enjoys the quiet solitude of the boating lake.
He has also begun to notice another visitor to the lake, a young boy, playing with a stick at the water‘s edge, a boy who is always alone. Slowly, Dylan can see that something is terribly wrong with the child; he seems troubled and unhappy and when bruises start to appear on the boy‘s arms, he knows that he must act.

DeborahSmall A Goodreads win from last year that I‘ll have to get to this year!! 7y
ferskner I love your cross-stitch! It looks like the same pattern company that I use. Lavender and Lace, I think? 7y
DeborahSmall @ferskner I did this 23 years ago when I was as 17, I can‘t remember where I got it from 💕 7y

Pickpick

This was a recommendation from my Mum who is also a thriller fan. She told me to read it and it is definitely a pick as it's well written but there are some really horrible domestic violence scenes which I struggled through. The plot is well developed and I kind of worked out the twist but not the finer details. I will look out for more from this writer.

Mehso-so

I had heard so much about this book that I was actually rather disappointed when I read it. It's hard to review without giving anything away I think for me there was not enough going on and I got s bit bored
