I really wanted to like this book but, hmm...not so much. Too many coincidences to be really believable, and I didn't think it was particularly evocative of place. Had a few good lines, though.

This was an interesting first book in a series, Stella is a social worker in Footscray in Melbourne who works with the refugee community- one of her clients son is murdered so Stella decides to get involved. I‘m looking forward to book 2 and seeing how Stella evolves
Picked this up today from the library, crime novel where the main character is a social worker, set in Melbourne... looking forward to it. Plus the hummingbird #bookgogo matches whoop whoop #booksleeve http://etsy.me/2oS60eu one is left in the store
