Buckle up the argeneaus are back in a sexy, witty new novel from New York Times bestselling author Lynsay SandsDante Notte has heard it said that love hurts. He just wasn t expecting it to run him over in an RV. Still, a punctured lung and broken ribs are nothing compared to the full-body shock he feels whenever he s near the vehicle s driver, Mary Winslow. He needs to keep her safe from their pursuers while he rescues his brother. Most challenging of all, he needs to claim this smart, stubborn woman as his life mate. The naked, injured, insanely gorgeous younger man who clambered into her RV insists they belong together. If Mary wasn t feeling their incredible connection in every inch of her being, she wouldn t believe it. But now that the men who took Dante s twin are after her too, trusting her gut means risking her life for an immortal who s the very definition of a perfect stranger."

I liked the first half better. Hadn‘t read any of the other books (this is #23 in the series) but you can follow the mythology well enough. Giving it a pick because I liked that it started with a 62 year old heroine and was a fast, mostly entertaining read. Dante didn‘t narrate as much as expected. Different take on vampires. Ended on a cliffhanger (setting up book #24), but not committed enough to see what happens to Tomasso.

Not my favorite book in this series, but still fun. I like that Dante finally got his book (and can‘t wait to read his brother‘s) and I liked that his life mate is an older woman. I just felt that sometimes too much time was spent explaining the immortals, when I‘ve read all the books and I already know the backstory. I wish more time was spent on the kidnappers and other action in their relationship. #romantsy #paranormalromance

Mehso-so

By the time a series gets to book number 23, it tends to be a little predictable. I've enjoyed this series. (Gotta love the nanos!). This one looked interesting to me, because the heroine, Mary, was a 62 year old widow. Overall, I did enjoy this story until the very last chapter. Some of Mary's thoughts in that last chapter irritated me, so I think it may be time to give up this series. It was fun while it lasted!
