My non-fiction pick for the month. This scholarly and detailed look at the making of High Noon, the American cinema classic also tells the history of the Hollywood studio system‘s rise and fall. In addition I learned about the House Committee on Un-American Activities which caused 100‘s of very talented people to lose their civil rights, their livelihoods and their self-respect through the Hollywood blacklist system. #nonfiction2018
