When the help is far superior than the boss
Because why not. Heavy reading with a side of margarita.
This promises to be a fascinating read. Let's go!
On my reading agenda this week: a book on dereliction of duty written by the current National Security Advisor 25 years ago.
Just bought this one. Looking forward to reading it! The author, a lieutenant general, has just been nominated as National Security Adviser. From what I gather, in the book he argues that the debacle of the Vietnam War is due in great part to the failure of the military establishment in getting the (civilian) executive branch to listen to them and trust their expertise. Seems relevant, doesn't it?
