I think older students will really enjoy reading this book. It is an interesting way for them to read about how women gained the right to vote.

You Want Women to Vote, Lizzie Stanton is a story about a young woman who wants to have the same rights as men. She spoke out for women‘s right to vote.

This would be a good story for my middle school kids to learn about women‘s suffrage and rights.

Stanton early in felt the sting of injustice in being a girl. Her father was even upset that she wasn‘t a boy. This story is showing how women had lived. Also the process of getting through the rough injustices they had gone through.

This is a book about a girl named Lizzy who wants to be a boy so she can vote. She wants the same rights as men. She helped fight for womens suffrage.

Lizzie wanted women to have the same rights as men and be just as important. Voting was a big part of it. This book seems to be an easy & short read and would be great in a history class. Showing how women stand up for themselves and how they fought to be a huge part of the world.
