#scarathlon #teamstoker #booksale #24B4Monday

I took a break from the readathon to go to the library book sale. I got 13 books for $3.

Andrew65 Great bargain and will build your library nicely. 😍 6y

Have you read this Eco? The premise of someone waking up to remember nothing of his life other than what he's read is intriguing as a reader. It's been on one of my tbr shelves for years, but, perhaps ironically, I keep forgetting about it.

MichelleScott_author I read The Name of the Rose which was really good. 7y
tournevis I have read all of Eco, whether academic, commentary or fiction. And I have at least liked all of it. This one is my third favourite of his fictions, after Foucault's Pendulum and Name of the Rose, in order. 7y
amvs1111 @Coffeeshopreviews Also unread on my shelves somewhere around here. 🤔 7y
amvs1111 @tournevis For those of us newer to his work, would you recommend reading the three in any particular order? 7y

Umberto Eco or Fall Out Boy we‘re options in trivia tonight and none of us knew this one. I did know The Name of the Rose. It‘s the only one of the four titles we were given that I knew. Don‘t ask me about album titles. I‘m lucky if I know song titles.

LibrarianRyan Plus fall out boy songs and albums have weird and long titles 8y
jpmcwisemorgan @LibrarianRyan Yes! That‘s why we got this wrong. We felt it could go either way. 8y

Umberto Eco may have had more famous books but none spoke to me more personally than this.
