I don‘t often enjoy textbooks, but I enjoyed this one. Lerer has a conversational tone of writing that makes the subject matter less dense and more fun to learn. I highly suggest this, even if you aren‘t an English major or an English Ed major! 😊

Ummmm.... First, I don't know how common it is to have to get one's canine exorcised. And how can you tell exorcism is needed anyway: spitting pea soup, its head rotates 360 degrees, it speaks in tongues? And then, what ball game requires the riding of bicycles while exorcising dogs? On which channel can I watch that league play? And then, what kind of cycles are we talking about here--bicycles, monsoon cycles, laundry cycles? 🤔 #LitsyHumor
