It is important to note this was written while Trump was a candidate and I bet Love is kicking himself as he would have so much more material. Easy to read and well written. I love books where I think I have a good baseline and the book deepens understanding. This is one of those. Simple example- Islam/Muslim is not a race, yet listen to the rhetoric and how it is treated. We know this, but Love enhances your understanding. Great!

ReadingEnvy He can write a follow-up and add the word trump's 8y
NerdyRev @ReadingEnvy That is what I thought. He has an instant sequel before the book is published. 8y

I missed @bookriot 's #riotgrams over the weekend, but here are my current reads. About finished with Lucky Boy and found it too long and cared about half the story. Islamophobia is straightforward, but well written. The Old Lady is a palate cleanser and just fun with quick chapters.

Cinfhen In still trudging along with Lucky Boy🙄I don't know why, something about the writing is putting me off 8y
NerdyRev @Cinfhen Trudging is a good word. It is interesting, but too much and I skim the chapters about the couple. So much potential, but such a letdown 8y
Maggie0557 My feelings about LUCKY BOY exactly 8y
