#TheOmnivorousBookClub met tonight 😁👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻! This book club of my library‘s does a theme every month. This month‘s theme is “March Madness”, or madness, and we all read books related to or focused on that. Not everyone remembered their copy, but you get an idea of what we discussed 😊. It was a rather...morbid and dark meeting tonight 😆.

Next month‘s theme is “Hope” since April is the National Month of Hope!

I required my students to email two potential topics for their argumentative essays. One of the responses I received: "absinthe or over-diagnosing of disorders."

Confused, I emailed back, telling her I needed more explanation in order to provide feedback. Her response: "Absinthe - While most view this as a priority in relationships and as a sign of purity I disagree."

I'll just be over here chugging a bottle of absinthe and weeping for humanity.
