panNope, nope, nope. Sometimes I LOVE NA romance and other times I find myself feeling way too old for it. This fell firmly in the latter category unfortunately. Slow, silly plotlines and writing that was painfully clunky. I started to skim towards the end and kind of regret not bailing altogether.
I would recommend reading Anna Todd's After series instead (and if you already have and hated it, def don't bother with this one 😂) #romance

pickThis was a lot better than I was expecting. Fairly typical for a new adult book but had a little more depth than I was expecting.

The Beautiful Broken series is on sale right now for $0.99. I read and loved the first one years ago, at the beginning of the NA boom. It's a much better written Beautiful Disaster, for those who are familiar. I never got around to reading the others in the series. Today I re-bought the first (Rules) because I didn't have it for Kindle and purchased the third (Promises). #romantsy
